Nancy Bergeron

Nancy Bergeron

A lawyer by profession, Nancy Bergeron started her career in sales with Robert Half International by connecting employers with highly skilled legal professionals. After successfully placing legal professionals with Export Development Canada, she joined the EDC team as an HR professional providing strategic advice in the areas of recruitment, training and change management. She then moved to EDC’s marketing team where she began providing sales enablement services to EDC’s sales force – as a team of one.

In May of 2016, EDC officially launched its BD Sales Operations and Enablement team where Nancy took on the role of Lead – Sales Enablement managing a team of 3, focused on developing training, sales tools and enablement advice to EDC’s sales and channel teams. From time to time you may also see Nancy in EDC’s trade talk videos on social media or edc.ca where she helps provide exporters with market knowledge and advice.

Glen Millard
Director BDG Operations, EDC

Glen Millard

Trained as an International Management professional, Glen Millard has had a 20 plus year career providing Trade Finance Solutions to Canadian companies. During this time he helped establish a boutique finance company that provided trade finance solutions for underserved exporters located in Canada’s prairie provinces, managed teams that spanned several countries and worked with clients around the globe.

At EDC, Glen has worked in the Business Development Group as an individual contributor, a Sales Leader in the GTA as well as an Global Accounts Director serving some of Canada’s largest export companies. In 2016, Glen became the Director of the BDG Operations; which was a new team of professionals established to provide a full service centralized operations and enablement function to support the sales efforts of EDC.

Violeta Addante
Senior Manager, Services & Partner Marketing, Softchoice

Violeta Addante

Violeta has spent 20+ years in various marketing leadership roles in the technology industry with extensive experience in product marketing, field engagement, go to market strategy, partner marketing, and demand generation. In her role at Softchoice, Violeta is responsible for leading the North American Services and Partner Marketing team at Softchoice across all categories, which includes; Client Solutions (Client Hardware, Software/SaaS and Security), Datacenter, Microsoft and Cisco, to help raise awareness of Softchoice and our Partners in the market and generate demand for our offerings.

Violeta has an M.B.A. from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. She and her husband Mike have been married for 14 years and live in Oakville, Ontario with their three very active boys.

Eric Gardiner
Director, Corporate Marketing, Softchoice

Eric Gardiner

Eric has spent almost 20 years working in the IT industry and has held roles in sales and sales training with extensive experience in communications, public relations, branding and demand creation. As the Director of Corporate Marketing, Eric is responsible for leading a team of marketing operations, event and digital marketing professional responsible for building awareness, content marketing, lead generation and driving the adoption of new marketing tools and technologies within the organization.

Eric lives in Toronto and enjoys escaping to his family’s nature retreat, playing guitar and above all, spending time with his wife and two boys.
